Warranty Coverage: Thermal Solar Covers come with a 4 Year Limited Prorated Manufacturers Warranty. The manufacturer of this cover warrants this cover against defects in the seam, on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if the cover is damaged as a result of improper installation or use. Warranty does not cover punctures, tears, excessive abrasion, pest damage or chemical damage. Warranty also does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
Start a Warranty Claim:To begin a claim please email customerservice@poolsuppliescanada.ca with a photo showing the defect(s)/damage to your Thermal Solar Cover and include a brief explanation of what occurred.

Extended Warranty Details*: The limited extended warranty comes into effect on the date the original purchase exceeds the 1st (first) year. We commit to replacing the cover during the extended warranty period if it fails under normal use without the coverage of repair. This warranty covers only seam separations and manufacturing defects for the duration of the extended warranty period. 1 year extended warranty will offer 100% replacement coverage during the 2nd season of ownership; 2 year extended warranty will offer 100% replacement coverage during the 2nd OR 3rd season of ownership. Limited extended warranty coverage does not cover any travel time or labour costs associated with the determination of a defect, diagnostics, or repair.
* Note: extended warranty coverage does not begin until after the included manufacturer warranty term has ended.
Holds the heat. Best we’ve bought yet!!
Bought the 'heavy' one (14 mil) end of August 2018.. barely used it the 1st summer, but was put well at use in 2019-2021.. So that's the 3rd summer and we started noticing this summer like someone else reported, pieces of plastic in the skimmer basket and some of the bubbles were popped open. Strangely enough it isn't everywhere on the cover, only some spots.. Was told by CSR that it was the chemicals and that wasn't covered by the warranty, only the seams were.. which is very surprising considering the whole cover material should be covered by the warranty. The cover is very effective to keep the water warm, as we were able to enjoy the pool this last summer from early June until late September (last jump was on 09/25 and the water was still 24°, which isn't bad for Southern Quebec). We were able to maintain a solid 27-28° during this summer, even hitting shortly 30°, when our neighbors only got it around 25-26°. I sent an inquiry to the customer service to check what the warranty covers, because it originally stated that this quality cover should last at least 6 years.
Works great, not to heavy to roll on and off, and to deal with on the reel. Tough, sharp looking, and works as advertised!
