You will want to purchase an air pillow that will fit in the middle of your pool with some free space around it. The cover should rest on top of the water around the air pillow.

Product will not hold air, bad air valve design
Bought 2 of these for our large pool.oneis fine the other had a hole somewhere. Hope to get a replacemt but it is under the cover now for the winter.

Love the air pillow, the water pools to the sides and it made a huge difference in installing the cover I was able to cover the pool alone without any trouble. I would recommend this to all with an ingound pool
Unfortunately I could only give this product 2stars. It sounds like a great product and the other items I ordered from the company have been great.I started to inflate the pillow yesterday in the midst of closing our above ground pool and before it was even half inflated the seam separated and formed a slit. I was desperate so i used gorilla tape on the slit and continued. After inflating it was terribly difficult to get the air valve cover to go into the hole. I then proceeding to put it in the pool and covered it with the winter blanket and it looked great. Woke up this morning to find it totally deflated. Just a small bump in the cover to even indicate it is there. I bought this early in the summer so warranty no longer is valid-besides its under the winter cover and Im not taking it off. Sorry but this product didn't live up to my expectations.
