Purchase this product about a month ago, instructions were very hard to read. I called GLI in Ohio the company who makes this, told me there should be a warranty card inside the box there wasn’t. They also do not have any videos online on how to install this on an 18 foot round pool from end to end with the reel system and installing the solar cover blanket. Managed to figure it out, the only issue is that when you Unwind the cover it seems as though both sides end up on one side of the pool always ,and you need two people to get it unwound and covering the pool fully.

We received this about two weeks ago, and I just installed it. I did not mount it on the pool walls, instead I mounted it on two 4x4 posts at the end of the pool. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. We have an Oval Pool, and as I mounted it at the end of the pool we did not use the straps. We manually start the cover and then just crank it from there. Our pool is only 12' wide, so we had to cut a 6" piece of the tube, but that was no problem. It's only been up a few hours with solar cover on it, but I don't see any sagging. I would recommend this product.

Quality product for the price. Solid mechanism. Easy to install because the instructions are clear. For my part, I installed the system on two 4 x 4 treated wood poles held by Pylex pivoting piles. I had to make a wooden seat to be able to screw the 2 bases in aluminum, but the final result is perfect. Small concern, do not screw the plastic screw too strong because it will tear the canvas. What would be nice to add to this kit, would be 1 1/2 " plastic washer to avoid tearing the canvas.

Instructions not 100% clear but managed to put together. Cover is installed on reel then on the pool. Works like magic, well worth the price.
