Great product

Haven't got it running yet but looks great

it was not our first pick, we wanted the Carvin 18 inch (to match the pump we bought), but after not receiving it in our order we called and they offered this one back the Carvin was out of stock. So far we like it, it was easy to setup. we put good quality sand in it and our water is crystal clear. We have had one issue with it, which is pending resolution, after 2 weeks of use, the pressure gauge somehow has condensation in it and now the water has turned brown. Plus we can no longer tell if it's working anymore because there seems to be a some deposits at the bottom which the needle seems to be getting caught up in. I wish that I could upload pictures to show. So we are backwashing every other day. Other then that, it works well and does the job. We had read bad reviews on it but they all said the the problems started the year after they bought it. I'll be doing a follow-up review next year. Stay tuned...

This is a really decent sand filter, really well made and sturdy. I didn't have any trouble getting it set up and its running great.
