Warranty Coverage: Carvin Sherlock Series Cartridge Filters come with a 2 Year Limited Manufacturers Warranty. The manufacturer of this filter warrants this filter against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if the equipment used to operate this filter is not compatible. Warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
After using a sand filter for over 20 years, I decided to try this cartridge filter. After 3 years of use, I can report that this filter is much better at filtering pool water. I haven't had any issue with keeping the pool water clean. With the sand filter it was often a struggle (keeping the pool clean) even though I replaced the sand every year! It's definitely worth the additional cost.
Installed easily and seems to be built ok. The o-ring was in the wrong slot so it leaked like crazy, but I figured it out. The factory put the o-ring in the bottom slot, but it should be in the top slot.
Love this filter over the typical sand, eco friendly makes it a bonus. A little pricy but whatever it takes to help the environment even just a little.
Perfect! Finally some eco-friendly pool products. I didn't want to invest in a pool until I was sure I could also have an eco option. I bought one last summer and this beaut helps save energy.
We are impressed with our sherlock filter! No more gunky sand and mess every year! Put it in myself and runs smooth as butter.
