Pentair recommends installing this product with a timer to add a second layer of protection, in addition to the included flow switch, and ensure the system is always off when your pool pump is off.

Warranty Coverage: Pentair Salt Systems come with a 2 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. The manufacturer warrants this salt system against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if this salt system is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice. This warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
