Warranty Coverage: At the manufacturer's discretion. Limited warranty covers replacement parts and labour, if the heater is installed with a pool or spa. The Applicable Warranty Period is one (1) year from the Purchase Date. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper water chemistry. The warranty will be void if the heater is not installed by a licensed technician, or the heater has been installed on a soft sided pool. Please see product manual for specific warranty details.

We purchased the repack natural gas 266,000 BTU inground pool heater last spring. It worked very well for the first 90 days or so. After this point in time it started leaking and causing problems. We immediately got in touch with our installer took it apart and determined that the heat exchanger working. He submitted a warranty claim to repack however they denied our warranty claim saying that our water may have been out of balance. To be clear, they never tested our water and it was perfect and balance. I am totally disappointed with this. We ended up having to purchase a new heat exchanger at full price and have it installed once again. This has been extreme for customer service and I would ask that if you buy one of these heaters you expect that you really do not have a warranty. The US manufacture got in touch with us once by email and pass it on to the Canadian arm. After repeated attempts to get in contact with the Canadian arm, we gave up as they would not return emails .
Do not buy a Raypak heater, bought one in early August 2021, leaked after the first day, couldn't return it without Rheem authorizing a return. Rheem's warranty department would not allow a return, deemed that the water chemistry made it leak from just one day of use (Chl 6.0ppm, PH 6.4ppm, ALK - 100ppm). Very arrogant salesman named Jason from Rheem with 30's years of no customer service said no warranty due to water chemistry, without even seeing the report, said that the Protek shield was showing bad water chemistry, once again from day one! This heater leaked everywhere, we were losing 6 inches of water per day with it hooked up. This heater was obviously not constructed properly but Rheem would not take ownership of bad workmanship, costing me almost double to get this heater working now. DO NOT BUY RAYPAK - NO WARRANTY! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

It is a great unit Only complaint is the digital display cover gets blown off an broken easily in storms Can it be replaced
