Warranty Coverage: Zodiac Automatic Pool Cleaners come with a 2 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. The manufacturer of this cleaner warrants this cleaner against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if the equipment used to operate this cleaner is not compatible, or due to improper installation or use. This warranty does not cover any labour charges, the cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
I have an indoor pool so I don't have any issues with leaves or twigs etc... but 6 months in and the units started going in circles . also recently stop working few weeks ago. I still have warranty so I dropped it off to see if they can fix it. I was very happy at first but I talked to the tech and he mentioned that the gear box is often the problem ... and it's a known problem.
Purchased the cleaner two years ago. The cleaner continually climbs up the side of my pool to the point that it is partially out of the water which results in a loss of suction as the pump fills with air. Once the air is in the filter the suction is lost and the cleaner falls to the bottom of the pool. The end result is more work for my pump and cleaning the pool takes a really long time. I would not recommend this cleaner.
Received two days ago and I am very pleased, suction is good, covers pool area well, and very easy to set up. My pool is spotless .
Cleaner is pretty good but its small so it takes a long time to get around and pick everything up... the MX - 8 Zodiac cleaner looks bigger and might have been a better bet for my size pool.
