I really like this cover, we don't have a heater for our pool yet and last summer all we used was this. left it on for a couple hours before swimming and the water was noticeably much warmer. Just wish it worked as fast as a heater :p lol

Was very nice for 2 years but the 3rd year bubbles are disintegrating due to "chemicals" so no warranty. Who doesn't have chemicals in their pool? (salt water above ground pool kept at proper levels)
Really neat concept - heats my pool much better than my old blue cover. These covers do heat well, but do show dirt much more than the blue ones. Also, they seem to not have great quality control as the 3 pieces that are welded together are not smooth - there are wrinkles in the cover between the welds, like there wasn't even tension when manufacturing so it doesn't lay flat on the pool. The heating is much better than our blue one, but this one doesn't look anywhere close to as good on the pool. Only a few weeks old and the dirt really shows. If I could do it again, I would have chosen differently.
Cheaper by over $60 compared to my regular store. Shipping was a bit much but I still ended up saving a lot.
I just finished my first season with my clear pool cover and I could not be happier with the product. It still looks like new. On a number of occasions I left it on the pool for days at a time and never had an algae on the cover. I found the 12mil cover easier to put on in addition to the extra durability.
I have received my pool solar cover (the transparent one) and I can tell you I am very satisfied with it and the service received by your company! The owner of the company who opens my pool did not even know there was more than the blue pool covers!!!
After our generic blue cover fell apart we decided to do a bit more research before buying our next pool cover. After reading reviews on various sites of covers by various manufacturers, we decided that the clear cover would be our best bet. The weight and dimensions of this cover were comparable and the price was competitive, so we placed our order. It arrived within a week and was placed in our backyard as it came during the day. When we opened our cover we were disappointed to see that it had a hole, slightly larger than a toonie, near the corner. We debated sending it back but our pool is Roman shaped so we most likely would be able to cut it out when we trimmed it. The cover is slightly wider than our pool, but that it okay, and we did not want to trim a side down as the we were afraid of interfering with the seam. Those are the only cons. We immediately noticed the increased thickness and overall better quality of this cover compared to our previous cover. While it makes it a bit more onerous to roll it up (it's much harder to do it alone, now, that's for sure) it is not enough to be a deterrent. We were absolutely shocked at how quickly and how much this cover warms up our pool. The first day we put it on our pool was about 83 degrees. After a day in the sun, my husband checked it and it was up to 88 degrees! Within two days, it had gone up another 3 degrees to 91 and has remained in the high 80s/low 90s consistently for the past few weeks. We have not used our heater at all so far this summer, despite a few overcast days. We have never seen such an effective product and have told all of our fellow pool-owning friends about it. If you're in the market for a new cover, definitely purchase this one, you will not be disappointed. In the brief time we have used it (2 months) it has, in our minds, justified the extra expenditure (which was admittedly minimal since all the covers were on sale when we purchased it).
I bought one of these clear solar blankets (20x40) and I love it. Your site had a great price and it was delivered quick. Very happy with the blanket. The seams are strong and the clear blanket does heat the water up more evenly, all the way down rather than just the top 12". The quality seems good (heavy duty 14 mil) and I'm hoping it will last longer than the blue one it's replacing. I'm very impressed!

The blanket is much better quality than the majority of covers out there. It does a great job of reducing water loss and heating the pool. The "plastic bubbles" had never taken water in. However, although the warranty is 5 years, it won't last anywhere near that. Mine began tearing apart after 3. This is not covered by the warranty.
First of all I can't say enough about how easy this transaction was. Having the cover delivered directly to the house was so handy since it is so large. This blanket was excellent quality and would have no reservations buying this again
We have had this solar blanket for about 5 weeks now and have determined it is the best ever. The other standard blue blankets we have owned helped keep the heat in but not as well. This one feels heavy duty and though it is a little heavier and more stiff than other blankets, it's worth the minimal extra effort. It is really working for us! Not sure yet if it will last longer than others but we are hopeful.
I'm very happy with the fast shipping. However, I'm not impressed with the solar cover, so far. It is not nearly as flexible or pliable as the cover I bought from you in 2015. This new "premium" cover is too stiff... almost brittle. This makes it much harder to roll onto the reel. The other big problem is that, because it's so stiff, pool water is getting on top of the cover, at the seams, because it is remaining folded into the water slightly instead of sitting flat on top of the water. This is creating a "trench" that fills with water, then the weight of the water pulls the cover down, causing even more water to pool on top. This, of course, causes evaporation and defeats the purpose of the cover (In case you're wondering, I trimmed the cover very carefully to perfectly fit my kidney shaped pool. I can send pictures to explain further). My only hope is that it will soften up in time. It's possible that the one I received is simply from a bad batch of plastic, but I'm not impressed. For this price, I expected better.
I recently purchase the 18x36 14mm clear along with the roller and was very impressed with the service. The order was at my door in less than 48 hours and the price couldn't be beat by any local pool stores. The cover is high quality and is doing great heating and maintaining the temperature of the pool. Only mistake I made was going woth the 3" tube for my roller. The site recommended upgrading and going woth the 4" tube for larger pools and thicker covers. It still works fine but the roller does sag in the middle when rolled up. Overall though, great service, great price and great product. I'll be checking here first for all future pool supplies.
I have had this cover for 5 years on my pool in Mexico. I put it on Nov 1st to Mar 31 and it keeps my pool between 28 and 30 degrees. I use my pool every day so the cover comes off for maybe an hour or so. It's sunny here pretty much every day too and the plastic just takes it in stride. So far the only deterioration is a couple of 1 inch separations on the seam welds but that's nothing after 5 years in the blazing sun.

I was a bit reluctant to order the 14mm solar cover as one review indicated that it was stiff and difficult to roll up etc. I actually ordered the medium cover, I then contacted to inquire and they reassured me that the cover was very easy to handle and worked as described. I took a chance and ordered the 14mm cover. I was amazed at how easy the cover rolled up and I noticed that my pool temperature did not drop overnight at +14 celsius outdoor temperature, with my 8mm cover I would notice a 2 to 3 degree (farenheit) drop nightly at the same outdoor temp. Cover appears sturdy, hopefully it stands the test of time.

I just received this solar blanket. I appreciate it very much. The first day, it was a little stiff and not easy to ride but soon after the second day was already more flexible and easy to roll and unroll. It keeps the heat well during the nights, the next day I lost only 2 degrees C. Note that I live in a region of Quebec where the nights are cold and I turn off my water heater for the night. I recommend this solar blanket and look forward to seeing it in the long run.
Bought this cover a few weeks ago, it works great at heating the pool and shipped fast but I have 1 big complaint. The cover sticks together when rolled up on the pool reel. It’s impossible to unroll it with just one person - someone has to help you pull the cover apart in order to unroll it .. even with 2 people it’s not an easy task and makes for very frustrating times when trying to put the cover back on the pool. If you’re not using a reel than you likely won’t have any problems ..

Really good quality. Very thick and not easy to rip. I had to cut my sides a bit to fit my pool so I worried that it would rip when I grabbed it to cover my pool. It is so thick that it hasn't ripped at all. I've had it a few months now and looks just as good as when I put it on the pool for the first time. I would buy again.
Very heavy duty thick clear plastic. Keeps water warm and prevents water from evaporating overnight. I had the cheap one, lasted 2 years. I had the middle quality with the blue on the top and silver on the bottom, water cooled faster and was not warm. This clear cover is the best solar blanket you can get.
Wow!! A cover you can leave on your pool in the day time which allows the sunlight in to heat. Heat loss at night is much, much less than previous, less quality covers. Worth the extra money. Hopefully durability is longer than cheaper versions. Would recommend for sure.

Great cover as I read all previous reviews which made me buy one. It’s October and we are still sitting at 75 degrees. Incredible heat retention and great quality. Biggest con was the fact it doesn’t separate when on the roll in middle of pool. Very frustrating taking apart and requires two people. I would recommend this product.

Had this for two seasons now, and just installed it on a roller. Previous years we just folded it, and it has held up no problem. We have no tears or frays in it, and are vary happy with it. We live in Ottawa and with the wind always blowing the temp of the water can drop quickly. So this really does help with the heat loss.

This was shipped quickly and seems like a good quality thicker cover. It was supposed to be 16 wide but we ended up having to cut 9 or 10 inches off. The only (minor I hope) problem thus far is that the one seam seems very stiff ridged and has not yet settled...(keeps air pockets) so cannot yet give a perfect rating. We are new pool owners so will definately be checking out your site again. Prices were good and no problems getting order.

This is a great solar cover so far. Fit my 20' x 40' pool with in deck solar cover roller without any issues. This is definitely an upgrade from my previous cover and will hopefully last longer.

Awesome. Has done better fo rus than the listed 5-10 degrees warmer temp. Increased temp an average of 2 degrees per hour in concert with the 12" widemouth skimmer and the angled return circulation fitting. Highly recommend this product.

This cover type is not so good. The bubbles in the plastic hardly have enough air and buoyancy to keep the cover afloat, and water seeps over the cover from the sides when pulling on and in use. This defeats the purpose of a cover since the water will evaporate and cool your pool. After a year the cover has also lost a lot of its initial rigidity, so its much harder to manipulate on and off when its like moving a wet blanket. Finally, the clear cover does not seem to warm the pool like the old blue one did. I realise this is an unscientific statement that could be verified by proper measurements and comparison, but its too late for that. Its my assessment - our pool has not got above 20C this July - usually the hottest month. Our best was 27C in July, so 19C is a poor comparison. Could be cover absorption, could be evaporative chilling at night. Dunno, but I won't be getting a clear cover again.

This solar cover seems much better than the one that came with my aboveground pool package. It seems to retain the heat better, although hard to compare since this was a warm summer. The one downside is that the clear cover promotes algae growth more than the blue cover I had before.

I have use some sort of solar cover for over 20 years on an above ground pool. Solar covers have only advantages except for the effort required to put then on and remove them and standing rain water on them. So the simpler and easier it is to handle it, the more likely you are to use it consistently. I found that those 14 mil covers are by far the best for handling. It is their stiffness that makes them so much easier to handle compared to the thin flimsy one. Also the larger bubbles trap less water between them (compared to ones with smaller bubbles the size of regular mailing bubble wrap) so surprisingly they feel lighter to handle when wet than some of the thinner ones. Because of their stiffness those thick one are easier to roll to get them off the pool and to unroll to spread them back on the pool surface and once rolled, to handle. Or, if the trapped rain water is dirty with debris and algae from standing rain water, it is possible to somewhat contain it within the rolled cover and drain it outside the pool (but it may take strength because of the trapped water). Ticker covers don't get bunched-up by the filter's current in smaller pools like the very light and flexible one and are much less prone to be partially "sunk" by the current. Lastly, trying to unfold a wet thin cover, that sticks to itself and is all bunched-up on the surface of a pool can be a trying experience. If alone, you nearly need to clamp an end to the side of the pool otherwise it just float to you when you pull on it to spread it. So in my experience, the thicker the material, the longer it last, the far easier it is to handle, the less frustration and the more consistently it is used.

I never write a review on any product but I just had to write about how good this cover is!! Our pool has not been below 80 all summer, most days it's averaging 84-85. We too had the blue cover and were hesitant to spend the extra money on this cover but based on reviews we decided to go for it. We wish we had sooner!!! Previous summers our pool would get to the high 70's maybe the occasional 80. This cover really does retain the heat very well. We also bought the UV cover for when we have the blanket rolled up, hopefully that will help prolong it. I noticed some reviews commented on the heaviness of the blanket on the reel so we just added a few more straps to the blanket to roll it up and haven't had a problem.

Great cover for my pool. Got two already both lasted 3 seasons only. I didn't know of the 6 year warranty until right now... But it is VERY efficient. I always keep my pool covered when not in use and the heater is used only at the beginning and the end of the season... the rest is done by this cover. Also there is little to no cleaning as it keeps the debris out of the water so I run the robot once every other week cause we have a dog and there is some hair... also I have not incurred any excess in chemicals caused by this cover. You can use the heater even when the cover is on and it heats the pool 3 times faster! Highly recommend.

Bought this cover 4 years ago, it never disinegrated. Problem was when I cut in my ladder rails, when rolling the cover off it tore the cut portion leaving a big tear. User error 100%. And I can also ad I would shock my pool and cover up right after. I am waiting for another sale to re-order this exact cover life exceeds the blue covers.
I bought this cover at the beginning of the season in 2017 and I here I am now in 2023 and just about ready to order a replacement 6 years later only because the seams are tearing. Great Quality, my old cover was too light weight and blew off my pool all the time, this one stays put and works great.
Bought one in 2018. Brittle and unusable by 2021. Bought another. Brittle and unusable by June 2023, pieces brake right off if it’s pulled into position. Covered with white cover when off, stored indoors in the winter. Not buying another from this manufacturer. There are some reviews on here saying they only last about 3 years, I’ll agree with that. The pro rated warranty only covers the seams separating. The seams are fine. The rest of the cover is brittle, and the bubbles are disintegrating. I’ve had the pool since 2001 and have done nothing different but buy 2 covers from this manufacturer. Two failures. I don’t know how there are so many 5 star ratings. It’s a great cover for the first season.

This cover lasted exactly 3 years. It’s very thick. Shows dirt. Hard to roll on the roller because it’s so stiff. This season it’s started to tear along the seams. I’m starting a warranty coverage.
