What is a Safety Cover?

Safety covers are light weight yet extremely strong inground swimming pool covers that prevent your pets and children from falling in to your pool during the Winter, while also keeping dirt, leaves and stagnant water out. This ensures you’ll have a clean pool come Spring time! Unlike a traditional type of Winter cover, a safety cover provides a tight and perfect fit for your pool shape and size, regardless of how large or uniquely shaped it may be.
What are the Benefits of a Safety Cover?

A pool safety cover is a solid vinyl or mesh cover that is pulled tightly across your inground pool. Secured using anchors which are installed around the perimeter of your pool, a safety cover provides a custom fit that is simply not possible with a regular winter cover. The number one reason to own a pool safety cover is, of course, safety. The mesh or vinyl material is pulled tightly across the pool like a trampoline, which allows it to hold a significant amount of weight, meeting ATSM International Standards. Although no one should ever walk on a pool safety cover, in an emergency situation they can hold the weight of an adult, child or family pet.

What is Cover Doctor? Will It Work For Me?

Do you have an old safety cover you can’t use any more? Take advantage of Pool Supplies Canada’s exclusive Cover Doctor safety cover program and get your cover remade quickly so you don’t have to drill new anchors in your concrete or wooden deck! Cover Doctor uses your existing cover as a template for a brand new one, which means most (if not all) of your anchor holes will line up exactly the same as before. As long as you have your old safety cover, we can make a new one with our Cover Doctor program!
