Good fairly quiet pump. Looks to be much more reliable than Aqua Coastal pump that came with pool. It was easy to install, once I bought adapters to connect to Aqua Coastal sand filter. Motor is shrouded and is fan cooled. Most important, pump and motor are enclosed in sealed unit so no worry about motor being damaged by elements. I bring the pump inside every winter.

The pump itself works great. It is quieter than the OEM one that came with our Bestway pool. It also is a smoother low drone noise, so it is easier to listen to than the buzzy OEM one. My only quibble is that it doesn't come with the unions to connect it (SP1500UNPAK2).

Delivery was 2 days quicker than listed on my order. Install was really easy and I'm just learning there is a built-in programming capability. I had the Hayward Ultra Pro LX pump for 7 years and bought this one to replace it (based off reviews). I'm much happier because this pump makes less noise and the cover is a lot easier to remove when emptying the basket. Highly recommend this pump and highly recommend your company (our local pool shops could not price match them).

I have had a pool for over 25 years. My pump stopped working. Replacing is always the way to go. Shipping is from the Toronto area and I live in New Brunswick. I placed the order on Monday afternoon and received the item early Wednesday morning. It took less than 48 hours! Incredible! This Hayward pump is the best I've seen. And I've had other name brands.

I was a pool service tech during my college years and knew the importance of a good pump on a pool. Insider tip on this pump - it has the same housing as Haywards Inground Series (MaxFlo). Hard to believe the price on this unit considering how robust its built - only down fall I found with this pump is that there is no drain cap - so if you don't take your pump in for the winter you will need to shop vac it dry - not a big deal... but thought I'd point it out. Truly a great pump though for the price - you'll be hard pressed to find a better performer. - - Randy K
