Easy to assemble. Literally you set it and forget it! Works so well for our new pool. My pool was slimy and slippery therefore, the Polaris would try to keep working up but would slide down. It definitely got rid of sands and worms in the bottom. The downfall is that I have to empty more often and clean the filter. There is a light indicator to notify you once the filter is dirty. It does help to clean the pool. I would recommend it but not for this price.
