Installed by myself, very easy to do it. As the old pump was rusted with no label, after some calculations found on poolsuppliescanada.ca I finally decided to go with 0.75 HP. I have had to adjust the pool's return exits to get the pressure down from 12.5 to 10 PSI (filter clean-as-new with Filtra Balls filtration media). I would say that the "high performance hydraulics" advertise is true :D The pump is installed below the ground level in a shed and will prime by itself. While the old one was quite noisy even with the shed closed, this new one is a really quiet one - with the shed open and me standing on patio (~20m) I can hear the pressure gauge indicator vibrations rather than the pump! You have to get closer to hear it or to look at pool surface waves. Really happy with this purchase!
